The film was a bit disappointing to me. Great acting, occasional great photography (nothing less could be expected of Anton Corbjin) but the narrative is bleak, Ian Curtis looks like a super normal guy (maybe because the film is based on the book written by his widow) and then his amazing poetry seems to pop out of nowhere...
